Welcoming Joshua to the Castle team

As a Castle member that started as a graduate engineer, I have spent the last 3 years developing under the tutelage of the team into a more well-rounded representative of the company and person. I’ve recently been appointed as the new Field Sales Engineer for the South and Southeast of England and I’m eager to be very involved in projects that our partners in the industry are working on.

I’m a graduate of the University of Bristol and gained a lot of skills during my 4 years in the city. Most notably I became an award-winning bartender in-between my studies! A shock to much of the bar scene as I’d only been working the role part-time for a few weeks but is something I’m proud of as it demonstrated my dedication to the challenge and task at hand.

There have been many personal successes already in my short tenure with Castle Microwave, notably the UK Rookie Partner of the Year for Cadence Design Systems, and Certified Simulia CST Studio Suite Technical Expert. Castle celebrates their 40-year anniversary this year and I can’t wait to see what the next 40 bring.

Outside of the RF & Microwave world, you’ll either find me under a tired car trying to fix it, or more likely I’ll be on a stage in a small pub somewhere, playing to crowds of a few thousand few – the rockstar dream never dies.
